Design & Sales Consultant
Do you have a flair for design, and a good eye for colour and space? Love plants? A unique position requiring a combination of creativity, great relationship-building skills, and the discipline to deliver accurate administrative follow-through.
This position is responsible for prospecting and consulting with clients regarding their interior plantscape design needs. The incumbent will engage with clients throughout the process of design, installation, and ongoing maintenance of our product. The position will complete proposals, and post installation & service documentation to facilitate excellent customer service.
Technical competencies and experience required:
- Previous work experience in a related horticultural field.
- Sound knowledge of the basic principles of design.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Comfortable applying designs to large commercial spaces.
- Oral and written communication appropriate to corporate client base.
- Sound administration skills. Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher.
- Class 5 drivers license.
- Able to comfortably lift up to 45 pounds.
This is a permanent, year-round position. Regular hours may range from 35 – 44 per week. Weekend work is required through peak installation seasons such as Christmas, spring planting, fall display. Remuneration to be negotiated, depending on experience. Package offers commission and Blue Cross medical coverage.

Interior Horticultural Technician – P/T or F/T opportunities
Due to growth in our portfolio we often have full-time or part-time opportunities for a plant care technician in our interiorscape department. Duties include watering, pruning, cleaning and maintenance of a wide variety of indoor plants. This is a front-line position which deals with a diverse range of clients and the public on a daily basis, requiring a positive outlook and a proactive approach to customer care. The role can be physically demanding – it requires a person who is fit and enjoys an active lifestyle.
We offer a competitive wage and benefit package. Starting rate is from $16.50/hour, depending on experience. We supply a uniform, as well as all the tools and training required to succeed in this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love of working with live plants, together with some related work experience. Proven customer care skills and dependability are essential.
